Notes & Instructions
Today’s strategy is to educate potential buyers on what type of property is right for them to buy. Use a photo of a home with you in front of it or record a short video explaining the options available. This would make a great TikTok, Reel, or Short. Be sure to share this with your stories and adjust hashtags accordingly.

Should I buy a fixer-upper or a move-in-ready home?
If you’re in the market for a house, you may be considering a fixer-upper to save money. But it may surprise you to learn that renovating an outdated home isn’t always cheaper than buying a turnkey property. If your remodel goes over budget, you may end up paying as much or more than it would’ve cost to buy a fully done home.
Tip: Be sure to calculate what it will cost to renovate the home the way you want it. Be sure to get several quotes from licensed and insured contractors.
Pros & Cons of a Fixer-Upper
1. Often cheaper taxes
2. You can customize the home
3. Renovations can be a hassle
4. There’s a chance you will go over budget
5. It’s harder to get financing (sometimes banks won’t fund a home with extensive repairs)
Pros & Cons of a Move-in-Ready Home
1. You can move right in
2. It’s easier to budget
3. The home may not be exactly what you want
